Lovely readers & friends, I am sharing something more personal with you--my dear friend's son was tragically killed in a road traffic accident on Monday. He was only seven years old, in my daughter's class, and a funny and warm light in the school. I am sharing the JustGiving page for them here to help this dear family with funeral costs and a memorial for Samuel. They are of course incredibly sad but they are being upheld by a true and deep faith. Thank you! https://bit.ly/2FSn3bq

Oh, the excitement of starting a brand new book! I'm one chapter in and enjoying this story already. Here are the first two sentences to get you intrigued! 🙂
Abby Reese watched the dust rise from the dirt road in a golden-brown plume, obscuring the vehicle that was causing it, although she knew who was driving. Although, Abby reflected as she stood on the farmhouse’s weathered front porch, one hand wrapped around a post, she didn’t actually know the driver. She only knew of him.

What do you think? #amwriting #newbook
