DECEMBER 2007
It’s hard to believe it’s that time of year again—buying
presents, putting up the tree, sending out cards… I hope
that in the midst of all the frantic activity the Christmas season
always seems to entail, you are able to enjoy a few moments of
quiet and reflect on the past year.
2007 has been an amazing year for me writing-wise! I’ve
had four books accepted for publication by Harlequin Mills & Boon,
with four more in the works. I’ve also continued writing
short stories and historical sagas, as well as being busy with
the normal routines of life, homeschooling my three young ones
and supporting my husband in his ministry work.
My first book, THE ITALIAN’S CHOSEN WIFE, hits the shelves
in the UK this month, and will be in the US in January. Meanwhile
my fourth book, THE ITALIAN’S BOUGHT BRIDE, has gone through
and will be on the shelves next September.
In anticipation of my first Mills & Boon release, I’m
banding together with some other fabulous Harlequin authors, India
Grey, Natalie
Anderson, Christina
Hollis, and Lynne
Marshall to offer you a terrific contest with lots of great
books and prizes! Please visit my contest
page to check it out—you can enter from this site, or
any of the other participating authors’ sites.
Also this month my short story GOING PLACES will be featured in
The People’s Friend magazine the week of Dec8/15. If you
live in the UK, don’t forget to pick up a copy! In other
news, my historical novel FAR HORIZONS has been nominated for an
award at the Red
Roses for Authors review site, check it out and vote for me
if you want to before December 15.
In mid-December I’ll be blogging on the IheartPresents site
about the emotional intensity in the Presents line. Stay tuned
for more blogging spots, and in January I’ll also be featuring
some guest bloggers on this site.
Meanwhile check out my Christmas story A
REAL CHRISTMAS for a warm, feel-good romance. It’s
been published in The People’s Friend, Woman’s World,
and That’s Life Fast Fiction. Now it’s for you!
Have a peaceful and joyous Advent season,

OCTOBER 2007
The countdown begins to the launch of my first
Harlequin Presents! The Italian's Chosen Wife will be
available for order on eharlequin.com from November 1.
Meanwhile
I have just put the final touches on my
fourth book, tentatively titled The Italian's Bought
Bride, and am looking forward to beginning my next book--details
to follow!

SEPTEMBER 2007
It’s that time of year again! The leaves start changing,
the children head back to school, and life gets busy again. I’m
currently at work on my fourth book, tentatively titled The Italian’s
Bought Bride. It’s the first book I’ve written where
the hero and heroine have a history together, and it’s been
exciting to see how two people who once believed they were in love
learn what love really means. It should be released sometime in
late 2008.
Also this September The
Pink Heart Society is celebrating its first birthday. There are plenty of fabulous
prizes to win and fun interviews and articles to read, so go on
over and check it out!
I’m getting quite excited about the release of my very first
Harlequin Presents, THE ITALIAN’S CHOSEN WIFE. It will be
released in the UK in hardcover in October 2007, in paperback as
a Modern Romance in December 2007, and in the US as Harlequin Presents
in January 2008.
I also am celebrating the American release of my hardcover historical
saga, FAR HORIZONS, written under the name Katharine Swartz, in
September 2007. You can buy it here.
Also, in October 2007, the sequel, ANOTHER COUNTRY, will be released
in the UK. More news on that to come.
