Almost done
I'm 5,000 words away from the end of my latest book--hooray!! Every time I finish a book I feel a sense of amazement that I've managed to write this thing, followed by an almost paralyzing fear that my editor won't like it. Then when it's accepted I feel overwhelming relief, followed by further nervousness and fear when it's released and readers start giving me their responses, which are wide and varied.I've had some lovely reader mail about my February US release, The Italian's Bought Bride, which I am very grateful for. I also have many copies of this book--40--so if you missed it in the stores and would like a copy, e-mail me by Wednesday midnight eastern standard time and I'll send you a copy.
Meanwhile I need to finish the latest book--working title The French Count's Secret Child--and even think about the next one, which is going to be set in my hometown!
Now my 4 month old baby girl is fussing so I'd better go give her some comfort...

Good luck finishing the book.
You are truly amazing - when, I ask WHEN do you write??? Or is it just that you don't ever sleep? :)
