Finally!
I apologize for the long wait! Blogger, for some reason, wouldn't let me post a blog for quite a few weeks. But here I am, the Christmas rush is over (my best present was Anna sleeping through the night on Christmas Eve--she hasn't done it since!!) and I have a winner for the contest India Grey and I sponsored. JANE, you won a copy of my latest book, The Greek Tycoon's Reluctant Bride, as well as some yummy chocolates from Dylan's Candy Bar. India will also be posting a winner, and so send us your details and we'll get our presents out to you!

To everyone else, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I've written the first chapter of my next book--I chose a French hero, a glam setting, and a secret baby/marriage of convenience plot. Stay tuned for more details...

We have a winner!
Sorry to take so long with this! As usual life took over... and over...

Anyway, I drew a winner and JANE, you have won a copy of The Greek Tycoon's Reluctant Bride, as well as some lovely chocolate from Dylan's Candy Bar. So send me your details and I'll try to get that out to you ASAP.

Meanwhile I've started my next book, which has a glam urban setting (Paris!) as well as Cornwall and the South of France. The plot is a marriage of convenience (I love those!) Right now it's titled The French Count's Secret Child, but I'll keep you posted...

Meanwhile check out my new December short story on my Writing Links page as well as my newsletter.

Bigger and better!
I'm teaming with fellow Presents author India Grey to offer a contest to win copies of both of our December releases, as well as some other goodies including the aforementioned chocolate from Dylan's Candy Bar. So to enter, leave a comment telling me what kind of setting you like in your Presents, then hop over to India Grey's blog to leave a comment on what kind of hero you like. Comments from my previous entry will automatically be entered.

So... get your thinking caps on. What's your pleasure?

A Greek island?

A sultry desert?

The big city?

Let me know!!! We'll draw a winner next week.

Done!
Amazingly, miraculously, I managed to finish my book and hand it in Dec 1 as promised. This book was typed mostly one-handed and with a missing h key on my computer--if you noticed any dropped hs in my post, that is why. I have to push the little tab underneath the h key space to get it to work. But the book is done, and I feel like I have a new lease on life.

Of course, I have another book due Feb 15, which is *not* that far away. (Who came up with these deadlines? Oh, wait. I did.) And with all the preChristmas madness, this should be interesting. I have--count 'em--twenty-five nieces and nephews. I am not kidding. My husband and I are both the youngest of five. So that's a lot of little presents. Plus Christmas cards, presents for grandparents, teachers, doormen and maintenance men of our apartment building, decorating, getting Anna's passport expedited... well! There is a lot to do.

BUT. I'm thinking of my next book, and I thought I'd conduct a little poll. So if you want a hand in my next book, tell me what kind of book you like. Marriage of convenience, revenge, shared history, secret baby? And what about the hero? Italian, Spanish, English, French, American, Greek? And the setting...? Glam city? Rural idyll? Greek island? I promise to take everyone's responses into consideration and you can win something too--leave a comment telling me what kind of book you like and I'll pick a winner from the responses. You can win a copy of one of my released books (The Italian's Chosen Wife, The Greek Tycoon's Convenient Bride, Ruthless Boss, Hired Wife, or The Italian's Bought Bride) PLUS a selection of chocolates from Dylan's Candy Bar, a famous candy store in NYC that we spend far too much time and money at (it's around the corner from my son's school and he knows this). Check it out here.

So, tell me what kind of book you like or even don't like!
