Progress
I'm at 43,000 words for my latest book, which is pretty muc on track--one week to finish it, one week to polish and revise. Of course, that second week is also the week of Thanksgiving--kids off school, and we're travelling to my brother's. But never mind. That is what laptops are for.

Meanwhile I've discovered that my rugby-themed book, The Sheikh's Love-Child, will be out in July, and my novella, part of an Italian Summer anthology, will be out summer 2009 as well.

And while I'm finishing this up book, I'm also thinking of the next one which is due right around the corner--February 15! Eek!

But I'll leave you with an exchange my husband had with my four year old son a few days ago:

Son: Daddy my pants are wet.

Husband: How id they get wet?

Son: I wiped my hand on them.

Husband: How did your hand get wet?

Son: I stuck it in the toilet.

Husband: What! Why did you do that??

Son: To get the toothpaste. It fell in.

Husband: Ugh...

Son: It was your toothpaste. [pause] Don't use it.
