Halfway through chapter 3--and various news!
Which, for the moment, is a good place to be. I usually like writing these middle chapters, when things start to heat up and get interesting but before you've got to wrap it all together... of course, there is always the quandary: how much of the internal conflict to reveal? How much to keep secret, save for later? I usually like to hint at things but if the hints are too heavy-handed, I find as a reader, than it can just be annoying!Brenda Novak's auction is closing tonight, and my offer of a three-month one way critique partner closed out at $530! I don't know who will be receiving my precious pearls of wisdom, but watch this space...

And lastly, we have a winner for our fake boyfriend contest--Rachel Long, who picked Daniel Craig! This *was* drawn randomly even though I have to say it works for me as Cormac Douglas, my hero from Ruthless Boss, Hired Wife, was inspired by Daniel Craig in Casino Royale (love that film!)
